Background

Born in Texas and raised on the plains of South Dakota, Hannah dreamed of being an artist or a chef – interests that have stuck around throughout her life. After studying at South Dakota State University and graduating with a degree in Graphic Design (with minors in Art History and Theatre), she packed her bags and moved to the Twin Cities.

Hannah worked as a member of an in-house creative team member for a nonprofit residential building association for nearly a decade. Starting as a designer and ultimately creative director, she fell in love with editorial design and the stories behind the buildings and builders that make up our world. Her next adventure was starting up a creative and marketing company to help businesses with design, content creation, and social media.

Currently residing in a suburb of Minneapolis, Hannah lives with her husband Mark, a son named Jack, a baby girl Bennie, and their family pup, Pico. On the weekends, you'll likely find her sharing a craft beer or Irish whiskey with friends, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen (with the hope of publishing a cookbook someday), traveling, or uncovering small moments of magic on family adventures.
