Growing up in the midwest, Chris spent most summer vacations on overnight road trips with family to Estes Park, Colorado. They would camp, hike, explore, and always have one eye on Longs Peak.
As a teenager, having moved to the east coast, his interests shifted to the first iMacs, guitar tabs, and web design and development. He would later study 3D animation and traditional design at James Madison University. Ultimately, the mountains never left his mind and he ended up in Denver less than a week after graduation.
After departing an odd first design job—which had him in the attic of a house, with a handful of others—he cut his teeth as an entrepreneur at the age of 24 and hasn't looked back.
Today, Chris still calls Colorado home. When he's not working on the business, he road bikes, jumps into CrossFit workouts, and stays busy with his wife, Sarah, and their young son, Ezra.
