Background

Ruby grew up in a small Croatian town surrounded by musicians, creatives, and alternative kids. There, they discovered a passion for music and design during the Myspace era throughout high school.

Ruby discovered their passion for design by designing merch, posters, album covers, and websites when they were a drummer in a well-known underground alternative band.

From there, they quickly shifted into web design and graphic design for studios, agencies, and more while working in Zagreb, Croatia, San Francisco, and now Los Angeles, California.

In their spare time, Ruby runs The Design Blog, leads interior design and renovation projects, and enjoys museums, galleries, and art markets.

They also love traveling with their partner, Zoe, going to concerts, trying out new restaurants or coffee shops, spending time with their baby niece, and relaxing at home with their cat, Berlioz.
